The **Union of Krylia**, commonly referred to as **Krylia**, is a country located directly north of spawn, in the western Wetlands.

1. 1. 1. Establishment

Krylia was founded on June 8, 2024, by RR2342, about 3 km north of spawn. The union began with a starting population of four. Initially, its territory included the Greater Krylian Plain, a small part of Mag an Ghealach, and the northern section of Brzozowylas.

1. 1. 1. Early Period (June 8 – July 5, 2024)

Krylia adopted an expansionist policy during its early period. On June 11, 2024, it claimed Chereshnia, leading to a controversy over its ownership since the region lacked any residents. The dispute was intensified by comparisons with Ciemnydębowylas, which had structures and active resource gathering but was not initially considered Krylian. The controversy subsided when Krylia annexed Ciemnydębowylas on June 22, 2024.

On July 3, 2024, Krylia acquired Old Loopia, Abetolandia, Mag an Ghealach, and the eastern part of Greater Krylia, increasing the population to eight.

1. 1. 1. Anti-War Period (July 5 – July 15, 2024)

On July 5, Krylia declared war on Liver_K and IEATDIRT for killing frogs. However, a citizen poll revealed 67% opposition to war, leading to its cancellation and long-lasting instability. That same day, RR2342 stepped down as leader, passing leadership to DopleTople.

Tensions arose with the newly formed Gooberland, with several citizens leaving Krylia, including one defector to Gooberland. On July 11, Loopia gained independence, further destabilizing the union. A coup was attempted against DopleTople over disputes regarding Mag an Ghealach.

On July 15, Krylia held its first pseudo-election to gauge satisfaction with its leadership. The results led to 1701_ winning with 67% of the vote. The population during this time rose to 14-19.

1. 1. 1. Modern Period (July 15, 2024 – Present)

By mid-July, tensions with Gooberland eased, and Krylia entered a stable period. Controversies like the Chereshnia dispute subsided but remained potential flashpoints. Mag an Ghealach became neutral territory.

Key developments in this period: - August 5, 2024: Creation of Wybrzeze as a new territory. - September 15, 2024: Old Loopia and Abetolandia annexed after purchase by RR2342. - October 25, 2024: Fangtooth Island added to Soyuz.

Geography

Krylia is primarly forest. In the south-east is Ciemnydębowylas and Brzozowylas, Both are forest regions, dark oak and birch respectively. In the west is Soyuz, a flat farming region. South of Soyuz is Wybrzeze, a lakeside region with very little population density. At the far east is Chereshnia, Krylian claim over the cherry blossom mountains has been controversial as there are no residents in the region. At the center of Krylia is Greater Krylia, Which is the capitol region of Krylia. A newly added state to the country is Old Loopia and Abetolandia.

Government

Krylia operates as a pseudo-democracy. Citizens vote monthly (on the 15th) on their satisfaction with the leader. Dissatisfaction triggers new elections. The constitution is as follows:

Constitution of the Union of Krylia

        We, the People of The Union of Krylia, to create a more perfect Union, establish Justice, and insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the Union of Krylia.
  
  1: Krylia shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
  
  2: Krylia shall make no law permitting murder or manslaughter; any act of unlawfully killing another player, whether intentional (murder) or unintentional (manslaughter), is strictly prohibited and punishable by the full extent of the law unless all parties agree. 
   2a. Killing another player is allowed for self defense.
  
  3: Krylia shall deem excessive claiming unlawful unless explicit permission is granted; any act of claiming resources, property, or rights beyond what is deemed reasonable or legally entitled without proper authorization is strictly prohibited and subject to legal action.
3a. Claiming of empty land is allowed for up to 3 days.
  
  4: Krylia shall render obstructive buildings illegal unless explicit permission is granted; the construction or maintenance of any structure that significantly impedes public access, safety, or community welfare is strictly forbidden unless specific authorization is obtained from the relevant authorities.
     
  5: Krylia shall make no law permitting theft; all forms of stealing, including burglary, larceny, and embezzlement, are strictly deemed illegal and punishable under the law.
  
  6: Krylia shall prohibit misleading advertisements; any form of false, deceptive, or fraudulent advertising designed to mislead consumers is strictly forbidden and subject to penalties.

  7: It is prohibited to set fire to forests. Or use TNT bombers without explicit government permission. Violation of this law is punishable by exclusion of services or exclusion from Krylian territory depending on the severity of the crime.

  8: On the 15th day of each real-world month, the government shall conduct a vote to assess citizens' satisfaction with their leadership. If the majority of citizens express dissatisfaction, a re-election for the leader will be held.

  9: It is prohibited to bring or summon withers inside Krylian territory. Violation can result in revoking citizenship, or forced community service to repair the damages caused by the wither(s).

    If laws are broken, citizens of Krylia are obligated to withhold goods and services from the criminal. Citizenship may also be revoked.

Economy

Krylia's primary export is wheat and bread.
