Meggs256's base was created in August 2024, at 568, -2702, and is connected to the Nether Rail

Geography

The base is located on the side of a mountain by a river. Near the base is a cherry forest and a mountain covered by an oak forest and containing a village at the top.

Structure

Meggs256's base is split into the lower area and upper area, the lower area housing a house and some farms, with the upper area housing a mob farm, an item sorter, and a supersmelter.

Lower area

There is a road connecting half part of the lower area, including the house, sugarcane farm, wheat farm, spruce trees, a railway going down south 1.66 km to a slime farm. The rest of the lower area is the nether portal, some redstone constructs, various farms, and a two-way connection to the upper area of the base.

the southernmost building of the lower area is a an unfinished mailing system, all that is missing are nether portals and a roof.

Upper area

The upper area is accessible by elytra or by the water elevator. Exiting the entrance room are two doorways to the left and right. To the right is an automatic random item exchanger, which works like bartering with piglins, it uses diamonds and drops out gold, normal bartering drops, enchanted armour pieces worn by mobs, enchanted books, and "other stuff".

To the left is a traditional mob farm, and an AFK fish farm. Past that is a large circular open-top room with a lodestone in the center, half of the wall is missing. On the north-west side is another corridor, which diverts to two rooms. The left path goes through a room with various crafting stations, like grindstones and brewing stands. Beyond the room is another room with an item sorter and piles of ores on one of the corners.

Going back to the divergence, the right path leads to a 16-furnace autosmelter.
